How is San Jose State University?
How is San Jose State University?
For those of you who are attending or are alumni of San Jose State University in California, how do you like the school? I applied to go there next year and am hoping to get in. I just wanted to know if people enjoyed going to school there/ if it's a good place to study. Thank you in advance for all answers and any help you can give.

I want to move to San Jose, California... Should I?
I was thinking of moving to San Jose, CA after college. I don't know if I should wait it out until after going to graduate school or if I should move while going to graduate school... What do you think?

San Jose huh? Do you know the way? You may go wrong and lose your way. Because L.A. is a great big freeway - put 100 down and buy a car. You'll be a star in San Jose. I've got a lot of friends in San Jose, there'll be a space for you to find a place in San Jose. La la la, la la laa laa laaa.
2
Depends on where your school is going to be but i can say San Jose is a nice area.
3
I don't get the category but San Jose is ok. Its expensive for a student though. If you plan to work in technology its a great place to intern or get a start
4
I really don't know where you are from or why you want to move to San Ho. The San Jose area is one of if not the most expensive places to live in the US. My daughter has an apartment there and pays over 1500 a month. What are you majoring in? Some fields you need to be in "the area" for others you do not. Do some research and see if you can Really afford it.

The column at the right is Template:Infobox School Here is the coding (put it at the top of your page) {{Infobox School |name = |native_name = |latin_name = |image = |imagesize = |caption = |location = |streetaddress = |region = |city = |state = |province = |county = |postcode = |postalcode = |zipcode = |country = |country1 = |coordinates = |schoolnumber = |schoolboard = |district = |authority = |religion = |denomination = |oversight = |affiliation = |superintendent = |trustee = |founder = |specialist = |president = |head of school = |headteacher = |head_label = |head = |chairperson = |principal = |viceprincipal = |dean = |administrator = |rector = |chaplain = |director = |custodian = |staff = |ranking = |bar pass rate = |faculty = |teaching_staff = |roll = |MOE = |ceeb = |school code = |LEA = |ofsted = |testaverage = |testname = |national_ranking = |classes = |classes offered = |avg_class_size = |ratio = |SAT = |ACT = |graduates = |year = |gender = |lower_age = |upper_age = |houses = |schooltype = |fundingtype = |type = |system = |fees = |tuition = |revenue = |endowment = |budget = |enrolment = |products = |grades = |age range = |medium = |language = |classrooms = |campus = |campus size = |campus type = |Hours_in_Day = |athletics = |conference = |slogan = |song = |fightsong = |motto = |accreditation = |rival = |mascot = |mascot image = |sports = |patron = |team_name = |nickname = |school_colours = |school_colors = |yearbook = |publication = |newspaper = |opened = |established = |founded = |status = |closed = |students = |sixth_form_students = |pupils = |alumni = |nobel_laureates = |enrollment = |gradeK = |grade1 = |grade2 = |grade3 = |grade4 = |grade5 = |grade6 = |grade7 = |grade8 = |grade9 = |grade10 = |grade11 = |grade12 = |grade13 = |other_grade_label = |other = |communities = |feeders = |free_label = |free_text = |free_label1 = |free_text1 = |free_label2 = |free_text2 = |free_label3 = |free_text3 = |free_label4 = |free_text4 = |free_label5 = |free_text5 = |footnotes = |picture = |homepage = }} Read the lower portions of Template:Infobox school to see what you need to plug in, or use the article you cite for a guide ("edit" it so you can see the coding)

I would start with a local hospital. That's where I started. Just tell them that you are a new graduate and would like to apply for lab as a phlebotomist. Good luck.
2
Most schools have externship sites for you. Mine did since there are certain things that have to be done to meet their requirements. Hospitals are a good place also city labs since they usually don't hire a lot of people and would be happy for the extra work. Since city labs are usually for low income or cash paying customers you should get alot of experience with people who have different medical problems. At the hospital you will get to practice on more children though. Have fun and ask lots of questions. It is a great job and I love it!

I'm a music major and any wher eyou go you have to audition on an instrument or voice. It doesn't matter if you're going for music ed, therapy, theory or performance. You can't just jump in the 1st day of school. Music depts don't work that way. You have to go and play for them a year in advance where ever you go. You play a song consisting of mostly 16ths if you are an instrumentalist and Italian if you are a vocalist. They will through you out the door if you have no background in an ensemble or theory. You will also be forced into 10-13 music classes per semester. So think carefully if this is what you want to do and if you fit these requirements

Alternate possibliity: Insite online school. This is similar to homeschooling, in that your parents really should review the work before you hit SEND. http://distancelearn.about.com/od/onlinepublicschools/a/CaliforniaPub.htm
