Yes. The plot sounds interesting. Would this be set in a dystopian world?

Okay the day of the murder if the child isn't home on time the parents would alreay be calling the cops. So i recomend maybe having a closet in the classroom that Mrs. Franklin makes her bad students go in and she tortures them until they obey her. She threatens to kill the students if they tell on her. She should look normal on the outside and all of the other teachers think she is a great teacher since all of her students are passing with straight A's in fear of being sent to the closet. A group of students in the class should rebel against her and she should one of them to the closet and torture one of them until he or she dies. That should be the climax of the story. The rest of it could be Mrs. Franklin on the run or better yet goes crazy and locks her students in the classroom and sets it on fire and the students must find a way out. The story should be set in Mrs. Franklin's POV and a couple of the students. That would make it interesting. Hope i helped!!!

It looks okay, but not great. It's like a drama-suspense kind of thing. I think this book is a little too deadly. http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=AhuvKklw95KCMN07IfeWZxPty6IX;_ylv=3?qid=20100822165505AArYSzy

Here's the lowdown. Get a degree in Biology. Yes your school matters but not as much as your GPA. I would try to do your undergrad in at least a UC school. UCI has a great BIO program. You do not need to go to graduate school. You will apply to dental school directly from undergrad. You will have to take the DAT test which is the most important part of you getting into a dental school. Every dental school has different standards but if you want to go here in CA you'll have to score pretty high. USC, UCSF, Loma Linda, UOP, the UCLA have the best dental programs in order from best to worst. USC has the same teaching method as Harvard, called PBL or Problem Based Learning. This isn't teaching from a text book, rather it is more self learning by working on real life cases and then meeting with professors to go over results. Also there is a lot of hands on dentistry. Whereas UCLA has very little hands on dentistry and is very book based. The cost difference is significant as UCLA is about $100 K cheaper than USC. Your interview and essay will also be a big part of what schools will offer you a slot. BTW. I would really try for a UC school for undergrad rather than a school like San Jose State. The interviewers have a higher opinion of UC schools and frankly their opinion matters. Lastly, there is no 'internship' for dental school. If you have any more questions please ask.

Between Stratford and Challenger Middle Schools in the California Bay Area, which one is better?

Between Stratford and Challenger Middle Schools in the California Bay Area, which one is better?
I have a child going to Challenger Middle in San Jose and I have a problem with the management and teachers - they don't take any action. The teachers are rude, unqualified people who have no passion for their job. Could you please compare this to Stratford School and tell me which school I am better off sending my child to? Thanks.

Should a college graduate work at Starbucks? At a restaurant?

Should a college graduate work at Starbucks? At a restaurant?
Here's my situation: I'm 22 and graduated from a reputable college a few months ago. Now I'm living at home and in the process of applying to professional school. I regret not making many friends in college, because now I'm stuck at home by myself, sad and lonely. I found a job as an SAT tutor that pays $25/hr, which is great, but I won't have the chance to meet new people or make new friends, aside from the high school students who I will be tutoring alone in their homes. So, I'm thinking of getting another job in addition to the SAT job where I can meet more people my age. Where should I work? Starbucks? My concern is I have a degree and shouldn't settle for minimum wage. Or maybe I should for the purpose of meeting people? Or maybe at a restaurant where I can earn tips? Any suggestions? I live in San Jose, California. Thanks :) I majored in Psychology and I'm applying to medical school.

You don't state what your degree is in, but your first choice in a job should be in what you majored in.....that would also look good on your applications to colleges for your masters. If you can't find one in your soon to be occupation, and the amount of money is not a concern, find a "fun" job......something you will enjoy doing, will meet interesting people and will fit with your schedule..........have some fun......you're young.........and good luck..........

go to clubs

That's a personal desicion but I wouldn't work at Starbuck's to meet people. Just go hang out there maybe. You'd be able to spend more time meeting people if you weren't working. Try to join some kind of group that suits your interests, you'll already have things in common w/ these people and find it easier to start conversation.

Hell no! Just like the millions of us who work very hard for ha we want u prob wrked very had to get that far, what did u study? Think more of yourself than that....

Hmmm... Seems like you always had a hard time making up your mind. Don't worry about working at a regular place like Starbucks. Go for it. You can sure meet some people your age, but they probably won't have a degree like yours. You can still relate and have fun, go out with them. But be careful and don't lose coarse and ruin your life with the bad crowd. Applebee's, maybe? The world is not going to end in a couple of seconds. Take a seasonal break and work at a coffee shop and see if you like it. A lot of professional, hard-working students begin at places like these because they need fast cash to re-pay loans, build credit, and grow independently. Good luck!

It would be a great idea to get a part-time job. It doesn't have to be a cafe or resto although these establishments will give you the opportunity to interact with colleagues, customers, and prospective employers and clients. Try getting a temp job in a field that's related to your course. Think of it as getting experience and honing your skills instead of 'a minimum wage job.' A part-time job won't only pay the bills, it will look good in your resume because your prospective full-time employer will see that you made feasible use of your time.

I'm trying to decide between these 3 schools in california, but have little knowledge about cali..any advice?
The three schools are 1.) San Jose sate university 2.) San Diego state university 3.) Cal State LA I'm not sure which area would be best for after school/getting a job/using the networking of the school, and i'm open to other schools in california that have an out of state tuition comparable to these schools.

Basketball is a great sport to get into, and is the second best indoor sport (and the best indoor sport shouldn't have spectators though) Contact the local YMCA/YWCA or the Boys and Girls clubs of America, check if they have any lessons. Look in the yellow pages for some real basketball camps, or programs

Basketball is a great, and very fun sport for 10 year old boys. I think it is a great idea. Here is a # for San Mateo Youth BB Association: (650) 571-1232. Also check out this link to Camden Youth Sports in San Jose: http://www.sanjoseca.gov/prns/centers/CC/Camdencc/Camden_Sports_Child_Youth1.asp. Maybe one of these can help you with what you are looking for. Hope this helps. Coach Tim http://www.simply-youth-basketball.com

Basketball is great plus it isn't very expensive. Get him to start watching NBA games too.
