Ive applied to Chico, Sonoma, Stanilsaus, Sacramento, San Jose, San Fransisco, Monterey, and San Diego Ive gotten into all but san diego so far Just tell me anything you know about the campus, programs, life, area, anything. i just want to get an insight at where im gonna go Im also interested in becoming a music major of some sort or maybe new media design or something like that Thanks

I'm a music major and any wher eyou go you have to audition on an instrument or voice. It doesn't matter if you're going for music ed, therapy, theory or performance. You can't just jump in the 1st day of school. Music depts don't work that way. You have to go and play for them a year in advance where ever you go. You play a song consisting of mostly 16ths if you are an instrumentalist and Italian if you are a vocalist. They will through you out the door if you have no background in an ensemble or theory. You will also be forced into 10-13 music classes per semester. So think carefully if this is what you want to do and if you fit these requirements
